Banquet Room Requirements
La Playa Maya has two private rooms in Fort Worth and one in Weatherford. If you do not have the minimum number of guests we can accomodate your party in a partial room. Minimums listed are for private parties at no additional charge.
Stockyards location, 1540 N. Main Street, 76106, has a banquet room upstairs that can accommodate a maximum of 100 guests. The minimum number of guests required to book this room is 80 people.
Southside location, 3200 Hemphill, 76110, has a banquet room upstairs that can accommodate a maximum of 50 quests. The minimum number of required guests to book this room is 40 people.
Southside Location, (side room), also has a smaller semi-private room that can accommodate a party of 20 guest.
Weatherford location, 1445 Fort Worth Hwy, 76086, the banquet room accommodates 50 guests with a minimum number of required guests to book a private party is 40.
La Playa Maya allows their guest to have the room for up to 3 hours with servers exclusively with the party. A signed contract and credit card number will be required to confirm the reservation.
If you don’t have enough guests to book a private party, don’t be discouraged, La Playa Maya is still eager to accommodate your party in a partial room.
Table Decorations
You may choose to have a regular setting, which consist of our daily warm multicolored table clothes and Sandalwood or Burgundy linen napkins. Guests are also welcome to arrive half an hour early to arrange the room with their own decorations to complement the party or let our Event Coordinator help you customize your event by selecting from a variety of colored linens and centerpieces for an additional fee.
From the Bar
You may choose to have a cash bar in which the guests pay for their own
alcoholic beverages, or an open bar in which alcoholic drinks are added to the final bill.
Hosts may decide on limiting their cost by using our ticket system. In this case the host will distribute one or two tickets per person that can be redeemed that evening for alcoholic beverages. After the tickets have been used, the guest may purchase additional beverages at the cash bar.
Please note tickets that are not used that evening will be forfeited and may not be used at any other time.
Menu
La Playa Maya offers special customized menus for private parties at no additional cost. We can customize your menu with your choice of entrees, however, the following is Our most popular menu. This menu gives your guest a choice of one of our four most requested dishes:
Beef or Chicken Fajitas
Select Flap meat, plump chicken breast and large gulf shrimp marinated and charbroiled.
Served sizzling with beans, rice, fresh guacamole, sour cream, and fresh flour tortillas.
Mexican Dinner
One crispy beef taco, two beef enchiladas, and one cheese taco. Served with guacamole salad, rice, and beans
Pollo con Champiñones
Grilled chicken breast smothered with sautéed mushrooms, onions,
& poblano peppers. Served on a hot skillet with rice,
and fresh guacamole
Filete de Bagre
White fish, pan fried and covered with your choice of sauce. Served with white rice and Veggies
The price of this menu is around $17.00 per person.
This prices includes choice of
One entrée, ice tea or soft drink, 8.25% sales tax, and an 18% gratuity.
(Please note, you may choose any three or four dishes on our regular menu to be offered to your guests that evening. Prices vary)
